Tussar silk spelled as Tassar. It is also known as Kosa Silk. These silk produced from silkworm.

It is produced in Bhagalpur, Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The state of Jharkhand has emerged as the biggest producer of Tussar silk.

How to do maintance of Tussar?

* Dry cleaning is the best option for Tussar.
* It should not be wrapped in plastic since Silk needs to breathe.
* Use cold water and a mild liquid soap if you want to do handwash
