Sometime we feel the material we bought is so simple and confused to carry out the desired design. Now here is the simple tips make your salwar kameez design look good. If the material is plain or same design over all the body, pick some contrast material which is more suitable color to your salwar. You can also match the color with the inside design of the salwar. This is a type of anarkali (multi panel) salwar kameez. But designed with different idea. The material used is cotton with embroidery work. Piping work around round neck, puff sleeve as usual and broad flat piping at the center of the neck. A fleet work (new piping idea) done and its stitched on the chest part But here the complete chest portion has been made separately with horizontal and vertical folds with piping(fleet piping) border.

This is closed collar neck pattern. Body of the salwar in one color and Shoulder, sleeve and collar are in contrast color of the body. It gives perfect look when stitching the salwar kameez in anarkali or umbrella cut. Procedure: Draft has to be made for body portion(1), Shoulder portion(2) , sleeve portion(3) and Collar(4). Portion (1) : Make the body color with the salwar tops material 2,3,4         : Use contrast color or take the materials from border of the salwar if available

Here is the three patterns that gives different touch on salwar kameez neck Pattern1: This is a closed collar neck pattern with contrasted color of lace work on Sleeve. The sleeve has been stitched in different style. This is similar like sleeveless pattern but look like short sleeve[Higher armhole style]. Procedure: Draft the salwar top  as usual. And draft the sleeve portion as marking shown on the picture. Cut the sleeve as per the drafting measurement.  As this method looks like sleeveless you better increase the shoulder width from standard shoulder size. Or add extra 1 inch with your shoulder length.
