3 Simple steps to design a designer saree

Material Required:

Plain Fabric : 5.5 Meter

You can select plain fabric like Georgette, Chiffon, crepe. Check the width of the saree to match your height.


Border : 5 Meter

Since no need to place border inside only 5 Meter is enough. Now a days ready 5 Meter border is available in the market.


Iron Stones

To enhance the look of saree you can add this iron stones over the body part.

Saree Fall

Definitely adding saree fall change the look of the saree and also helps to protect the border damage while walking.

Procedure


  • Leave the inside cloth (1/2 meter) Place border and attached over the both top and bottom edges of the saree. 

  • Stick iron stones 

  • Place saree fall on the bottom edge.

  • Make the iron stone dry for 24 hours.

  • Do reverse iron of the saree. So that stones will stick on to the saree properly

  • Make sure your iron stone and border color blend with the saree color.

In the sample dress I have used Crepe fabric, Gold color border and Gold color Stone.

Saree : 600 INR

Designer Falls : 500 INR

Stones : 25 INR

Saree Fall : 25 INR

Total Expense : 1150 INR

You can sell these saree for 3000.
