The basic eligibility to study fashion designing course is Higher secondary or 3 Years Diploma. You can also learn Fashion designing courses in part time in known universities.

Tamilnadu open university conducting fashion designing course in distant education. For open university the basic qualification is 10th. For people don't have basic qualification they are providing 6 month basic programme and later allow them to take the fashion designing courses. They are also providing courses in Tamil. And the people who have tamil as languages has been provided 25% discount in their course.
