How to sew raglan sleeve | Raglan sleeve stitching instruction

For raglan sleeve you need to draft the pattern on sheet and then carry over the measurement on the original cloth. And follow all the instruction.
Draft your salwar design pattern as per the instruction given in Salwar sewing instruction. And now follow the changes in the draft
Draft the sleeve see sleeve draft [3]


  • Mark chest point on the left side[Armhole bottom]
  • Mark the neck line point as indicated on the picture
  • Join these two points [shape line as curved line on under arm]
  • Now cut off the portion which indicated as red line[named it as 2] .

  1. Place the body portion [1] on the material and mark and cut it
  2. Now jointly place the cut off portion [2] and sleeve [3] on the material and cut it off [This two joint is raglan sleeve]
