Princess cut designer saree blouse front and back neck designs

A beautifully dressed saree not completed without a perfect saree blouse. And perfect saree blouse should be matched with perfect bra size. (see article How to measure bra size)

Here im showing sample pattern of ‘PRINCESS CUT’. (You can use this Princess cut in the salwar kameez too).


Princess cut blouse meaning is cutting curves from the armscye to bust point to waist



Front neck  and Back neck of  Saree blouse


How to measure for Princess cut Blouse?



Take the Measurement from mid shoulder to Bust point

Take the measurement of bust point to bust point

How to Draft Princess cut Blouse Pattern?




Note: Picture shows half of the body pattern

1. Cut the half body into 2 piece along the curve line. 
2. Remove the excess dart (along the darted line showed in the picture)

For princess cut blouse only front portion of the body would change, Back remain same as noprmal blouse. All other stitching technique are same as normal blouse

You can also move dart (arm to bust point cut) to shoulder to bust point.
